All my life i've been called weird......
I've ALWAYS hated being called that.

I say whats on my mind.. even if it's silly.
But thats what makes me.. ME.

Not everybody got picked on.

My clothes weren't in style.

Listened to what was hot to them , and things they never even heard in there LIFE.
I was into school, history , science .
Went to the dances danced in my little circle of people who actually got me.

Middle school for me... was hell or something like it.
I had short hair , wore hammy downs, and was soo shy.

Freshmen year .... I bloomed like a flower.
Gotta perm for my nappy head

I learned how to open my mouth and speak.

Strange but I had so many DIFFERENT types of friends .

How Do you talk white??

My mother is a teacher.

My grandmother always taught me good grammer.

I went to the school my mother taught at which was mostly white.

But what I could never understand was when I got around my cousins or

one of my African American friends they would always say...

"Oh Summer you talk white"

Now when I was little it bothered me so much because.

I felt as if they were calling me white.

And I was like " I'm black do you not see my skin color?"

I had to grow and realize that they meant....

I talk proper english.

I'm proud to sound like I know what i'm talking about.

Now a days when someone says that I'm so quick to correct them.

You can't act a color.

If you where on stage right at this moment and someone told you to be the color yellow....

Have you ever had a journal or a diary?

Well I have recieved SOO many in my life, And sadly they All look the same.

The first couple of pages are full from top to bottom about things that I went through,

Which crack me up on a whole new level.

But after the first couple of pages there all empty.

It's So hard for me to start something and FINISH it..

But this Blog stuff [which you can tell i'm qutie Fresh at]

looks like something I can do and enjoy doing.

No matter how colorful the binder or the journal or diary...

It just doesn't move me.

But Having something blank gets me So excited.

Excited to create something no one else has.

It doesn't matter if someone likes what I write or not.

All I know is I write and I know i'll like it.

If some folks Like what I have to say then YaY for them.

They will gain something and that's what I like to see.

I hope to gain more and more by writing and saying what's on my mind.

And looking at others blogs and gaining from them.

So many people are so into losing , I want to gain.
